Retirement models
There are primarily four ways to choose your investments in the plan:
- Select a risk-based model portfolio.
- Choose a target retirement date fund nearest your normal retirement date.
- Select from list of both actively and passively managed mutual funds available under the plan.
- Elect a Self-Directed Brokerage Account (SDBA) to self direct your investments in a brokerage account.
To the right, are the risk-based portfolios designed by the plan’s investment advisor with each portfolio’s investment allocation percentages. Consider completing the Investor Profile Questionnaire in your enrollment booklet to determine your risk tolerance and which portfolio may be right for you.

Score 10-19
The conservative investment strategy seeks to provide high current income and low long-term capital appreciation.
Score 20-26
The balanced strategy seeks to provide high current income and moderate long-term capital appreciation.
Score 27-33
The growth and income strategy seeks to provide above average capital appreciation and a moderate level of current income.
Score 34-40
The growth investment strategy seeks to provide high long-term capital appreciation with low current income.
Score 41-50
An aggressive growth strategy seeks to provide high long-term capital appreciation.
